We Respect your Privacy
Buyers Angels® respect your privacy and work hard to safeguard the security of your personal information.

Personal Information; What is it?  

Personal information is any information such as your name, address, or telephone number that may identify you, or by which your identity can be reasonably determined.

Other information we need to collect to provide our service includes credit and finance information.

Your Personal Information is never sold to Third Parties.

We do not sell any personally-identifiable information or lists or any other information collected by applications, telephone communications, fax, mail, e-mail or online on our web sites for random purposes.

Your right to stay anonymous.

You always have a right not to give personal information, as stated in the Privacy Act 1988 as amended.

However, because of the nature of the lending process, loans can only be generally granted on the basis of the security offered and the character and ability to repay of the persons applying for a loan. For this reason our service is unworkable without receiving actual personal, credit and finance information about yourself. We therefore destroy any application that does contain accurate personal information.

Security

We and our ISP use up to date techniques to ensure your information is secure, including encryption, firewalls and other technology and security procedures to help protect the accuracy and security of your personal information and prevent unauthorized access or improper use.

How we Collect you Information.

We will only collect information relevant to our business relationship with you. The information we collect from you may include contact details, personal details, financial information, and information about your use of finance and other associated products and services including financial services and risk management. This is done solely for the aim and purpose of best meeting your particular needs.
We collect information from by phone, mail, e-mail as well as online by asking you for it. For example, when you apply for a loan, special offer or other promotion. A customer's name, address (postal and e-mail) and telephone number are the most important pieces of information, but we normally request other information, based on, for example, the service's) being ordered or promoted.

Another way we collect information online and through completed forms through our affiliate program partners who may provide us information they already obtained from you. For example when you are on a partner's site and click on a Buyers Angels® text link, button or banner that takes you to an Advestment website site, information that the partner has received from you already may be passed to Advestment or one of it affiliated businesses.

How we Deal with your Information.

We will limit the use of your personal information to;

• Considering any application made by you to us;
• Helping us identify products and services that may interest you;
• Telling you about other products and services [unless you have asked us not to];
• Maintaining our ongoing relationship with you;
• Conducting market and customer satisfaction reports;
• Performing our internal administration and operations including: accounting, risk management, record keeping, archiving, systems development and testing;
• Credit scoring and staff training:
• Complying with legislative and regulatory requirements;
• Fulfilling any requirements at law.
• Delivering special offers, gifts and prizes to you.

As with most businesses today, Buyers Angels® uses channel partners and business alliances to carry out certain functions in marketing and delivering services to you, such as mortgage writing, file driving and processing loan application files and referral order fulfilment, and provided allied services, and so shares your information with those businesses to the extent necessary for them to perform their work. Of course, such partners and service providers must use that personally- identifiable information only for the purpose [s) for which it was shared and protect it from any further use. We also share such information with other industry- and credit-related organizations to improve operations and to protect against fraud, security and credit risks.

Because we make many special benefits available to you through relationships with other businesses, we may share your personal information with those businesses so that you receive the benefits to which you are entitled. We also sometimes use this information to extend special offers to you jointly with our partners.

You can Opt Out anytime. 

We may offer you products and services that we believe may meet your needs.

However, you can notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive these offers. Disclosing your Information.

We only disclose your personal information to third parties with your express or implied consent, or where we are otherwise entitled or required to do so.

·        Banks and other Lenders, mortgage mangers, mortgage and finance brokers for referring or introducing your loan;

·        Other organisations we have business relations with for the purpose of delivering products and services;

·        Our agents, contractors and external advisers who we may engage to fulfil our obligations to you, including our panel of Valuers and Mortgage Insurers;

·        Your agents, including your real estate agent, conveyance Solicitor, accountant or legal or financial advisor;

·        Your referees, including your employer for the purpose of validation of your information;

·        Credit Reporting Agencies for the purpose of credit risk assessment.

·        Your executor, administrator, trustee, guardian or solicitor;

·        Regulatory bodies, government agencies and other parties we are authorised to or are required to give more information to;

·        Anyone who introducers your loan applicant to us;

·        Any Mortgage Insurer who works with us for our clients;

·        Valuers who may want to check details of the proposed property;

·        Guarantors and prospective guarantors.

·        Staff that may be working with your files.

·        Other financial Institutions, for instance to cash cheques.

Access to your Information.
